HAWK’S VIEW ECO-HIKE PARK & BEACH
Experience the natural ecosystems and Culture of our Island and for once beathe some fresh and pure oxygen. Your forest hike will take place within the Hottestparrow natural reserve, a place where history and culture meets, upon arrival your guide will provide you with water, gloves and a hiking stick, which will prepare you for a fascinating and challenging adventure, once on the trail your guide will inform and entroduce you to the various species of fruit and medicine trees which have kept our ancestral healthy through generations. As you go deeper into the forest your guides will point out hard wood trees used in the past for the making houses on stilts, fine furniture, boats timbers and Rubber products. once you reach the top of HAWKS VIEW RIDGE you will experience spectacular sceneries of the Northern Coast line and a complete eco reserve area which iclude looking over the Eco Park.
You will also have a first hand view of the treasurus barrier reef. You may encounter exotic wild palms, butterflies, the famous wood pickers birds , Iguanas or a hawk, and if you are lucky you may be able to spot out our Island Camaleon along the trail, after the trail hike, will return to the New Eco- Caribbean Culture Park for refreshing island made beverages made of natural Island fruits.
Experience the amazing encounter with our local fauna and flora. Meet Guapo, our star capuchin monkey, and Paquita, our star macaw and the national bird of Honduras. Spot sloths hanging undisturbed in trees in their natural habitat. The park is also home to our local agouti rabbits and hummingbirds. You'll also meet the four brothers of the raccoon family. Come and join this unforgettable nature adventure!
After the break you will tour the park loaded with history and culture, you will board your bus on a short drive to Las Palmas beach resort where guest will have a two hour beach break where they can hang out at any of the beach bar and listen to island music, or they may just want to lay out on a beach chair under a palapa or shaded palm. Form here there is a 15 minute ride back to the ship to either of our two cruise port. Clear kayaks and other water sports are available for rent at the beach.
Tour Duration: apooximately 5 Hours Combo of- 3 in one tour. Will travel for about 16 minutes from Ship to Park. Time doing the Eco forest trail hike 1 hour and 20 minutes Time at Eco- caribbean park is 1 hr. Which includes a 15 minutes refreshment break Time From park to beach 12 Minutes. Time at beach. Will be 2 hours. From beach to Ship is 12-15 Minutes. Tour Timing: 5 Hour duration Tour level: moderate- With level 3 section. Depending on guest ability and choice.
